Taggs Birthday

Tagg had a great birthday!!!  He thought he was so special because he had a birthday in Utah with Gma and Papa Leetham and then we had another on in Wyoming with all our friends.  He got every thing he wanted for his birthday!!  He is such a special boy and we are so lucky to have him in our lives!! Here are 4 things we love about Tagg:

First Tooth

Katelynn lost her first tooth!!! She wouldn't let anybody touch it or even come close to it so it was loose for almost 4 months!!! She finally got it to come out one night when we were reading scriptures! She was playing with it and then just spit it on the floor and we had to find it again!
Its amazing to me that such a small thing in a child's life can bring such joy!! She was so excited that the tooth fairy would come and i am pretty sure she went to bed at like 6:30 just so she could fall asleep and get money!! But I don't think that she actually fell asleep until like 9:30. It was almost like Christmas morning!!
She is getting so big and growing up so fast. Kate loves kindergarten and is such an amazing reader! She loves to read and write anything she can get her hands on. Last month she got the academic and caring award for her class at school! Her teacher tells me all the time how sweet and helpful she is to her and the other students!

Tagg oh boy!!

Tagg does not pee his pants any more!! To bad he does not pee in the toilet either!! I can't get him to go inside. If he is outside he does it if he is inside he will run outside and do it off the porch!! He is just so cute though!!!

Tagg is potty trained!!

We are so excited that Tagg is Potty Trained!!! Last weekend Jake went to Arizona and Kate went to Utah to stay with Grandmas and Grandpas and me and Tagg stayed home. I decided to try to potty train him. He was not going in his diaper anymore but unfortunately he was not going in the toilet either! I have had him pee on my couch 3 times turn his stool over and pee in it on my bed on his bed on the front room floor, kitchen floor and on the bathroom floor. I figured it was time to get him to go in the potty!!
He did so good. He loved getting the treats that I had in a big container that he could pick out himself!! He a a few accidents the first few days and I was about to throw in the towel. I decided to keep at it because I really was tired of buying diapers! Well he finally got it!! Dad got him a truck for going so good!!
When we drove to Utah last night he was dry the whole ride and we only stoped once to let him go. Kate is so good to him and encourages him to go. She is such a good big sister!!! Last night he went the whole night without wetting his diaper!!! I few more of the those nights and we may be able to say goodbye to diapers for good!!

Hiking

Jake , Flint and Tagg went chuckar hunting and Tagg loved it. He was so good hiking around and being cold in the snow!! It was beautiful up in the mountains. They were up above the fog and looking down into the valley was awesome. They ended up not getting any birds but still had alot of fun.

Taggs 2nd Birthday

I decided to do a race track cake for tagg. He just loves cars. He kept getting up on the chair to see his cake. I thought it turned out cute!!! We just had a few people over for cake and ice cream. He was so cute opening his presents. He would open one and then just want to play with that one did not care about the rest. Then I would get him to open another one and he would just want to play with that one. I think he had a good birthday. He got alot of fun presents. We will have a family one when we go up to Utah!!

Boys!!! Is it always like this?

So yesterday I was just working away cleaning a little, doing my quilt a little and not paying attention to much of anything. My little sister and Kate were upstairs making something for dinner. I had put a chair at the top of the stairs so Tagg would not fall down the stairs anymore, but we were downstairs so I did not worry about it. Tagg was yelling and banging his hands on the wall and I turned around to talk to him and he is sitting on the top stair banging and playing with the chair. He had climbed all the way up the stairs!!! So I got him down and then put the chair at the bottom of the stairs and no more than 5 min later he was up and over the chair and half way up the stairs! I think I will have a climber on my hands. I took pictures but can't find the cord to put them on my computer so I will keep looking and post some pics when I find it.

Tagg sat here laughing with this bracelet in his mouth for the longest time. I still don't know what was so funny.

Four more teeth!!

Tagg is getting four more teeth in at the same time! I can't believe that he is getting more. He just looks so funny with 6 teeth in his mouth at only 6 months old. I am just waiting for the lock jaw hold with his teeth when I am feeding him!

Tagg Jacob Stephens

I am writing about Tagg. I write so much about kate that I feel I should give my son some of my attention. Tagg is about 5 months old (in about a week and some days). He started to roll over at about 2 1/2 months. He got his first two teeth at 3 1/2 months (He has not bit me yet but I am waiting for it every time I feed him). He now tries really hard to crawl, but forgets to lift his head, so he ends up scooting along the floor with his head down getting carpet burns, and he recently scooted off my huge log bed, (I am still feeling guilty about this one). He loves his sister and watches her intently every time she enters the room. All she has to do is look at him and he laughs so hard. He loves to play with his dad but wants to be in moms arms. I love the way he gets so excited and kicks his legs when I enter the room. He loves both his grandpas and great grandpas. (I think it is because they are bald like him,,, ha ha j/k (But you guys know its true)). That is my Tagg in a nut shell. We love him and could not imagine life without him.

Teething???? Already????

So for the last week or so my little man Tagg has been getting up all through the night about every hour, not taking naps and just being very fussy.....(I figured that he was fussy because he knew what was coming his way when he was older....Like kates body slams and wresting moves..) On Friday he was fussy and just crying away...I looked down and saw two teeth coming through his gums. Poor little guy, I am sure that it hurts....kate was older when she got her teeth and I let her suck on Popsicles and stuff like that. I really did not know that babies 3 1/2 months old could get teeth. He has been rolling over for the past month and really is just growing up to fast.
